OUR STORY

D & F has been a trusted local provided of traditional Industrial/commercial insulation services for over 38 years. We have expanded our expertise to include alternative insulation services with both commercial and residential applications. We have been providing general labour demolition, asbestos abatement, hazardous materials treatment, lead abatement, infectious control and mold removal services since our inception in 1988.
Our principals have over 50 years of experience in the insulation and abatement trades. Our qualified insulators are certified and trained in all applicable environmental, health and safety regulations and experience rigorous ongoing training and safety updates

OUR QUALIFICATIONS
We are a member of Local 95 Asbestos Workers Union and Master Insulators Association.
Through Elliot Special Risks Limited we have specialized liability insurance covering asbestos abatement applications.
Asbestos abatement projects are completed according to Ontario Regulation O.Reg. 278/05 – “Asbestos on Construction Projects and in Building and Repair Operations”- under The Occupational Health and Safety Act of Ontario. All asbestos waste is packaged and disposed of in accordance with Waste Regulation 347/90, and disposed of at appropriate municipal landfill, approved by the MOE.
D & F is licensed with the Ministry of the Environment for the transportation and disposal of hazardous material.
